So this is it.
My official first Journal update in my "Premium Member" environment. Man I sure feel important now!
As you might have noticed I have been pretty active here in the last few days. The reason for this is my new and beloved toy, the Canon 450D. It was an early christmas present I got myself (...what?) and I'm having such a blast with it.
It's a sure bet that you will see one or two other things coming from the camera.
Also, because of the premium-thing, it seems that I'm now able to feature other peoples work! Ain't that awesome?
So in my very first feature, I'd like to feature someone I know since quite a while.

Nawafiai
When I met her on some very random board I think she worked a lot with flash at that moment. With a very unique drawing style she put up art (amazing art) on the boards.
As much as I liked her digital work, her "analog" work is very impressive as well! Using different sorts fabrics she manages to compose landscapes, scenarious and even characters. What impresses me most is, even tho her method seem simple, she manages to keep the images from being flat.
Her art isn't easy to explain, but it is VERY worth to be checked out. Here are some of my favorites in no particular order.
